Antenna System & Technology at Ericsson Lindholmen is a part of Ericsson’s global radio product development organization. We have a strong focus on advanced antenna system and advanced beam forming for 5G and coming 6G radio products. 

To strengthen our antenna system team, we are now looking for an antenna system designer with an interest in developing antenna systems and beamforming features.

As an antenna system designer, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing wireless communication technology by developing antenna systems and features for the next generation of 5G and coming 6G radio products. 

We work in cross functional teams and collaborate with teams across Ericsson. You will be part of all development phases, from early pre-development and technology studies, design, verification to release of products and features.

What you will do

•    Development of antenna array systems and beam forming features, covering layer 1 to the air interface of Advanced Antenna System (AAS) products.

•    Development and break down of requirements to subsystems.

•    Perform trouble shooting and customer support.

•    Work with continuous improvements of products and process flows.

•    Participate in continuous learning, knowledge sharing, mentorship and self-development. 

You will bring

We´re looking for a result-oriented antenna system designer and a team worker with strong customer focus. Have well-developed analytical skills and are an adaptive person. 

Have high interest in the field of antenna technology and for advanced antenna system functionalities for cellular radio networks. We find the following important for this position:

•    MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering or physics or equivalent education. Preferable participated in communication system, signal processing and antenna related courses.

•    Some years of experience of developing antenna solutions.

•    Experienced in coding in Matlab and Python or similar programming languages.

•    Good understanding in available antenna technologies, Massive MIMO and advanced beam forming.

•    Ability to work in a global cross-functional and network-oriented organization.

•    Innovative, adaptive, and responsive to change.

•    Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and preferably Swedish.
