About the Opportunity
The GFGO Operational Improvement and Performance—Lean Six Sigma Chapter is an international and inclusive group of individuals who share a passion for innovation, change, and continuous improvement within Ericsson.
As an Improvement and Performance Manager, you'll apply fact-based problem-solving to identify, analyze, and propose process and operational improvements. These may be part of strategic initiatives, projects, or continuous improvements. You'll also support the Chapter community by globally coaching and training simplification drivers. Lastly, you'll use advanced data analytics, mining, modelling, and visualization to solve problems.
This is a highly visible role, as this is an executive-level priority in driving employee experience through simplification which generates significant, visible and recognized impact. Do you want to be part of our team?
What you will do
• Execute simplification projects/programs across Ericsson, delivering a significant impact and fantastic experience to our employees and customers.
• Contribute to the development and execution a robust engagement model for the Lean Six Sigma Chapter to ensure borderless collaboration and seamless engagement of Six Sigma Chapter experts around the globe.
• Increase the ability to make fact-based decisions by leveraging process mining skills and tools and delivering measurable and recognized value.
• Perform high-quality analysis, data mining connecting to core processes, systems and platforms, and perform deep dives as a part of scoping and formalizing simplification initiatives
• Analyze and validate simplification initiatives, analyze financial and operational impact and provide feedback and coaching to drivers.
• Build “next gen” analytics solutions to provide insights of employee pain-points, portfolio of projects and business impact, enabling fact-based decisions in simplification efforts
• Support and partner with other units to scale own simplification initiatives through Lean Six Sigma Toolbox competence-build, especially in the area of Statistical Analysis, Data Modelling, Graphical analysis and Data visualization
• Provide analytical solutions for the LSS community and chapter which transcend the legacy solutions we provide today (e.g. Minitab, Excel)
Skills You bring
• Education: A degree in Business Administration, IT, engineering or equivalent. Data science / statistic is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt Certificate, or developing towards / on track of obtaining the belt is strongly preferred.
• Track-record of executed simplifications and achieved outcome, especially in the last 12-18 months.
• Exceptional, proven skills in analytics, data modelling, and building solutions using Power Platforms
• Experience in working in high performance, cross-functional improvement teams (especially virtual teams). Strong collaboration and team spirit, self-motivated and motivating and inspiring others.
• Proven problem-solving skills. Analytical by nature and feeling comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Strong communication ability (team, written, stakeholder, executive, customer) and robust and expressive thought leadership
