About this opportunity:

The Architecture & Portfolio unit at GFTL is engaged in multiple technical and portfolio studies and reviews to support Business Areas, Market Areas and Group Function units. The studies can be root cause analysis why customers or product/services had severe problems or pro-active studies to identify opportunities and risks when launching a new product/service, contributing in work to create implementation proposal for new business and supporting M&A projects.

HW Systems and their characteristics is an important part to make Ericsson’s products and services competitive. The HW components and related eco systems are constantly changing which leads to opportunities and challenges for Ericsson to stay competitive.

The scope is HW systems, technologies and eco systems that are related to Ericsson business (CSP business and new business where Ericsson technologies and products are used).

The position holder shall ensure that there is competence to address HW systems, technologies and eco system aspects in studies and reviews conducted or supported by GFTL A&P.

What you will do:

• Lead analysis of HW related technology ecosystems.
• Lead and contribute to technology alignment initiatives.
• Lead and contribute studies and reviews, ensuring comprehensive follow-through.
• Serve as the lead editor and presenter for documentation and presentations.
• Collaborate as a co-writer in studies and reviews.
• Support due diligence processes in Ericsson's M&A activities.
• Represent Ericsson as a technical leader in contacts with customers, competitors, partners, and academia.
• Foster innovation and file IVDs in the domain to secure relevant intellectual property for Ericsson.
• Teach, coach, and mentor colleagues on the different aspects of the domain.
• Stay updated on key industry trends, academic research, and technology development in the domain and disseminate knowledge acquired across the organization.
• Build and maintain a professional and international network of peer technology authorities within and outside Ericsson. 

The skills you bring:

• The position holder needs to be passionate about the intersection of technology, business, and ecosystems. The position holder is recognized for its leadership and communication skills and possess the ability to navigate uncertain environments while engaging colleagues to achieve results.
• The position holder needs to have +10 years’ experience of HW system development and had leading positions in projects and studies and interaction with eco systems and suppliers Have developed and maintain internal and external professional network.
• To make an impact it’s crucial to have skills and experience to deliver fact-based, showing deep understanding of the subject and convey the message, in writing and verbally, to different kinds of stakeholders.
