About this opportunity:

Radio Systems & Technology drives radio product and technology evolution, high level systemization, architecture definition, standardization, mid- and long-term development plans, and long-term product plans (products and features) for PEU Radio.

In this role, you will own the work to break down high-level market requirements into proposals of radio HW and SW system solutions that can be realized in the next generation of radio development projects. You will lead a multi-functional team to deliver a technical solution and cost estimates to realize a solution for customer release!

You will participate in strategic work to evolve the long-term radio portfolio solutions, technology, and architecture.

The position is based in Kista and may require travel to other PDU Radio sites in Sweden, China, and Canada.

What you will do:

•    Drive radio technical studies or strategies

•    Interact with Product Management and technical specialists to define the radio portfolio and product requirements

•    Perform requirement breakdown to Radio level (SW and HW).

•    Evolve the Radio HW and SW architecture and system-level design to meet the product requirements

•    Participate in strategic work to evolve long-term radio portfolio solutions, technology, and architecture.

•    Drive and participate in level system-related technical studies

•    Work in Radio design cost activities

The skills you bring:

•    MSc degree in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge

•    Proficiency in English (verbal and written)

•    Knowledge and experience of System or Radio HW/ SW design

•    Driving skills (Planning, communication, presentation, etc.)

•    Creativity and Innovation skills

•    Knowledge and Experience in Radio Base Station (RBS) or Baseband system or HW/ SW design implementation, architectures, integration, and verification

•    Documented work experience as team leader to plan and deliver technical/customer work

•    Data analysis knowledge and experience (both theory and implementation)

•    Radio Requirement refinement and allocation skills (from RAN, RBS-level to Radio level)

•    Customer interaction related experience
