About this opportunity:

Join our Master Thesis Scholar program at Ericsson Research, Lindholmen, Gothenburg. At Ericsson Research, you’ll have an outstanding opportunity to use your skills and imagination to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You’ll be challenged, but you won’t be alone. You’ll be supervised by world-class researchers, all driven to go beyond the status quo to craft what comes next.

We are looking for several master thesis students to join our team during spring 2026, at Ericsson Research in Gothenburg. This program will include a wide range of 6G related research topics currently being explored at Ericsson Research, from theoretical projects to practical work involving the implementation and assessment of new ideas. Students who are chosen for the program will have the opportunity to choose topics in a discussion with the supervisors. Examples of topics are multi-antenna channel state information, wireless backhaul, radio propagation, positioning, sensing, radio near algorithms, machine learning for air interface, radio digital twin, over-the-air measurements, and spectrum sensing.

What you will do:

-    Contribute to design and development of a variety of theory, tools, demos, and testbeds with the aim of producing reproducible results that are of international publication quality.

-    Information searching

-    Excellent communication, reading and writing in English

Additional qualifications:

Highly motivated and self-driven last year MSc student in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent MSc program.
