About the Opportunity 

Inbound Supply, a Group Supply unit, is accountable for the Design, Management and Control of the Inbound Supply Chain to Manufacturing. The Inbound Supply chain is a strategic asset for competitiveness and includes approx. 150 suppliers and 10000 sourced products. A Supply Chain operated globally, optimizing Supply for our 16 production units around the world. 

Inbound Supply is on a journey supporting Group Supply in being a trusted partner securing 5G delivery globally and Switching to Next-Gen Supply & Services. We do this by enabling an industry-leading supply chain for our internal customers through innovative methods in a complex and disruptive business environment.

Trends of increasing product portfolio complexity, geopolitics and changing customer requirements impact how Group Supply and Inbound Supply manage our global footprint and supplier base. At the same time, the industry is leveraging new technologies and tools to digitalize and automate - as part of Industry 4.0. Our 2022 strategy outlines the steps we will take to maximize our contribution to Group Supply and Ericsson. 

We are now recruiting a talented and structured Supply Chain & Ecosystem Analyst to improve the efficiency of supply chain operations and resilience through data collection and analysis. Map and analyze supply chain ecosystems for critical areas and suppliers, identify risks and propose mitigation actions together with category owners.

The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the supply chain process and exceptional analytics skills. Interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different stakeholders to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. 

 

What You Will Do 

•    Drive Product Capability simulation for selected Product segments 

•    Analyze Categories & Suppliers Capability simulations and buffer fulfillment and predictive risk sensing

•    Interface with Category owners and Supply Operations Managers to identify problematic areas and establish improvements plans

•    Develop reporting and digital tools to enhance Supply chain analysis capabilities

•    Develop digital solutions for the Inbound Supply chain, mapping and blueprinting

•    Identify potential risks for disruptions in supply chain, collaborate with category owners to develop strategies to minimize risks 

•    Support specific Inbound & Logistics tasks

•    Assess suppliers’ multilayered ecosystems constituents in critical identified areas; Develop process to capture supplier’s supply chain different tiers (manufacturing, raw material)

 

The Skills You Bring 

•    BSc and/or MSc degree Supply Chain Management, Mathematics or Computer Science

•    Minimum 2 years of experience in data mining

•    Significant and relevant experience of Power BI and AI-models

•    Strong communication and analytical thinking skills

•    Supply chain management knowledge

•    Excellent English language skills
