About this Opportunity:
Join our world-class R&D team at the cutting edge of innovation in radio products!
You will be a part of R&D team responsible for the design and freq generation domain design and realization of radio products. One of our key objectives is to deliver world-class performance and quality board design for Massive MIMO and Remote Radios.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radio Developer with deep expertise in radio design and development to join our team in Kista. What you will do:
• Focusing on Circuit design and verification
• Creating and maintaining product documentation
• Collaborating and working closely with software design, integration and verification teams to drive product success
• Work with digital design from architecture to volume production of radio products
• Investigate and resolve engineering problems during board verification/integration
• Drive continuous improvements of design, processes and product quality
• Produce documentation as per radio development processes
• Perform troubleshooting, including support on debugging field return units
• Play a key role in designing tools and managing the product lifecycle efficiently
• Engaging with external chipset suppliers to align technological development with Ericsson’s needs
Skills you bring:
• M. Sc. In Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in digital, serdes/high-speed design and signal integrity analysis
• Proficient in using lab equipment's such as Signal source analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope etc
• Expertise with layout and schematic tools (Cadence etc.) and actively using them
• Strong knowledge of signal and power integrity simulations and EMC theory
• Good understanding of electrical performance and limitations such as trade-offs between power consumption and noise performance and the constraints of integrated die solutions versus discrete builds
• Skilled in simulation tools (eg., Hyperlynx, Ansys, SiSoft, ADS etc) for SI/PI
• Strong knowledge on Product development and Product Lifecycle Management
• Eager to continuously learn, communicate, interact, share information, and assist others across the organization
• Ability to work effectively in teams with minimal supervision, while also taking initiative and working independently when necessary
• Quality-oriented mindset, strategic thinking capabilities and a drive for continuous improvement
• Demonstrates a sense of ownership, analytical skills, structural approach, and results-oriented attitude
