About the opportunity
The Enclosure System & CPI team is an integral part of Ericsson’s PEG Site Solutions, providing expertise in enclosure design and CPI management. Our team plays a key role in ensuring that site solutions meet global standards, driving innovation, product maintenance, and managing CPI across Ericsson RAN Compute and Site Products. Comprising product development leaders, developers, technical writers, and partners across various global locations, we work collaboratively to ensure the seamless integration of our site solutions. Together with our extended partners and consultants, we foster an environment that is supportive, innovative, and collaborative. Our team follows Lean and Agile principles, focusing on multi-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of daily operations.
What you will do
We are looking for a CPI Team Leader to steer and support the development and delivery of high-quality Customer Product Information (CPI) for Ericsson Site Hardware and Software product. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate technical writing efforts for Site Customer Product Information (CPI), managing workload across internal writers and external partners
- Ensure timely, high-quality CPI deliveries aligned with development project timelines and Ericsson standards
- Conduct regular syncs with partners to monitor competence utilization, manage CPI feedback, and track Technical Requirement (TR) handling
- Maintain and continuously improve CPI process documentation
- Align CPI effort estimates with hardware and software development planning
- Represent CPI in forums such as IA boards, audits, reference groups, and tool development initiatives
- Participate in CA-studies, pre-study, and feasibility phases of system projects
- Troubleshoot and analyse Technical Requests (TR) and Change Requests (CR)
- Participate in requirement handling and tool/methodology development for CPI
- Review and approve CPI releases, including HW & SW content, publishing logs, review records, and Alex Library updates
- Monitor authoring flow efficiency, feedback handling, and TR resolution to ensure lean operations
- Organize Ways-of-Working (WoW) discussions to improve throughput and minimize bottlenecks across HW and SW CPI processes
- Lead strategic initiatives to modernize and evolve CPI operations
- Advocate for and integrate generative AI tools and innovative practices in CPI authoring, review, and publishing
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Customer Product Information (CPI) concepts, including methods, tools, and best practices for authoring, publishing, and maintaining technical content
- Understanding of standards and regulatory requirements relevant to Site Products and customer-facing documentation
- Solid grasp of system and subsystem architecture, especially within hardware and software development lifecycles
- Proven experience with CPI-related tools such as Acrolinx, DITA-CMS, CPI Automation Portal, and CPI as SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with AI-assisted writing solutions and automation workflows for content efficiency and quality enhancement
- In-depth knowledge of Site Products hardware and software, including associated CPI frameworks and structures
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in guiding technical writers and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Strong strategic mindset with a continuous improvement approach and a passion for innovation in CPI operations
