About the Opportunity
BNEW SAN Lab Operations provides world-class lab infrastructure, networks and HW Services to the R&D organizations. Our standardized solutions and services enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy their design and test environments. We provide engineering, IT, and test environments supporting more than 23,000 R&D engineers and operate ~50,000 square meters of labs and track 400,000 hardware assets.
Hardware Management (HWM) within SAN Lab Operation provides HW Asset Management services to the R&D organizations. HWM Strategy is to empower R&D to be data-driven in decisions and processes. HWM has a holistic approach to managing the complete life of our hardware assets, which is useful for Ericsson in maximizing the ROI. HWM Asset and Consumable Management is a new unit formed by adjusting the current HWM LCM and Investment Units, adding the new responsibility of Consumable Management.
We are now recruiting an Asset Manager for our global HW Management (HWM) team.
The main tasks are:
• Life cycle management (LCM) of hardware operated by Lab Site Operations (LSO), Lindholmen
• Focus is on both HW assets as well as on Consumables
• Main interface between HWM and Lab Site Operations (LSO), Lindholmen
We also continuously aim to evolve, improve, and adapt our WoW. The team is the main engine in this evolution, working closely with stakeholders and Lab Site Operations colleagues.
What You Will Do
• Handle local LCM/Asset management operations and activities
• Drive Continuous Improvements
• Have a strong relationship with HWM colleagues globally and other colleagues locally
• Report to Service owners for improvements/impediments
• Data quality maintenance in our HW database tool, Equipman and SAP
• Ticket handling in Jira, e.g., HW transfers between sites
• Local support of investments of HW assets and consumables
• Support site operations in areas of: Security, BCM, EHS/OHS, 5S, Audit, and Assessments
• Drive strategic, tactical, and operational work and targets
• Contribute to change, including the evolution of Lab Operations services globally
The Skills You Bring
• Good understanding of financial flows, especially for HW procurement, and life cycle management
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools
• Consistent record of achieving results
• A Master’s/University degree and experience working within a service organization
• Excellent English language skills
• Proven track record of being a team player, yet capable of making fact-based, timely & courageous decisions
• Transformation drive, thrive on accountability, and overcome challenges with a can-do attitude
• Customer-focused, sees the big picture, can get things done with agility and speed
• Skills in interacting with stakeholders in an international environment
• Experience in lean & agile ways of working and their implementation in large organizations
• Understanding of Ericsson products and the company's business
• Trade compliance and logistics knowledge
