We're looking for a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our Global GIC Supporting Services (GSS) Network, part of Service Area Networks (SAN) Lab Operations. Our mission is to deliver reliable infrastructure services within global standardized ICT environments, using both hardware and software-based designs to support various R&D units at Ericsson.

As part of our journey, we're expanding our Network Security team and need a colleague skilled in Network architecture and design, focusing on requirements engineering and high-level design processes. You'll collaborate closely with architects and operations engineers to provide robust, scalable network architectures and designs for DevOps teams and the network operations community.

What you will do:

• Serve as the main technical interface for stakeholders and development teams, focusing on architecture and design.
• Collaborate with other architects to ensure seamless architectural integration.
• Utilize a requirement-based approach for designing network and network security systems.
• Contribute to cost-effective solutions through design, planning, and deployment activities.
• Implement proactive measures to maintain stability and optimize environments when needed.
• Gather user feedback to drive continuous improvements.
• Act as an advisor during Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for failed deliveries and incidents.
• Apply requirements engineering methodologies during system design, aligning with Ericsson's processes.

With several years of experience, you excel in teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to achieve solutions and results.

Qualifications:

• University degree in a related technical field or equivalent knowledge.
• Deep expertise in network technologies (e.g., Juniper): routing/switching, firewall, BGP/MPLS, EVPN+VXLAN, IP services.
• Certifications at least JNCIS-SP or JNCIP-SP level or similar.
• Proven experience as a network and network security engineer in data center/service provider environments.
• Understanding of requirements engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with development practices like Python, REST APIs, JSON, Perl, GIT/Gerrit, GitLab.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes).
• Experience in lean/agile methodologies and their application in large organizations.
• Understanding of Ericsson's global network infrastructure and Service Architecture Design is a plus.
• Leadership experience (e.g., team leader or scrum master) is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
