What Will I Be Doing at Ericsson?

You’ll join a team working on high-impact Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A) projects.

You’ll be involved in IT project management during mergersacquisitions, and divestments, ensuring smooth integration or separation of IT systems.

In your first few months, you’ll shadow experienced IT M&A Program Managers, gain insights into M&A processes, and support the team with administrative tasks and data analysis.

As you progress, you’ll independently handle specific M&A project tasks, contribute to improving M&A processes, and become a reliable support resource for your team. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes and drive efficiency, improving how M&A projects are executed across the business.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the entire M&A lifecycle, from due diligence to post-merger integration, while working alongside senior leaders and experiencing key IT strategy initiatives.

  • Next 6 months: Rotate to another business unit in GFGO to broaden your experience in an area that aligns with your role and interests, providing exposure to new projects and challenges that complement your work in the home unit.
  • Permanent Role: Return to the IT M&A team, contributing to high-impact projects and improving project management processes.

 

Who Thrives in This Program?

We are looking for someone proactiveself-driven, and has:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project managementIT, or M&A processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively across teams.
  • A passion for process improvement and problem-solving.

About the IT M&A Team

The IT M&A team at Ericsson plays a strategic role in supporting the company’s M&A and divestment activities by overseeing all IT-related aspects of these transactions. The team is small but diverse, based primarily in Sweden with members across Europe and India.

The team operates in a collaborativedynamic, and results-oriented environment where innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning are highly valued.

As part of the IT M&A team, you’ll be involved in critical IT activities during mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, working alongside business leaders and external partners to ensure the seamless integration of IT systems. You’ll gain invaluable experience working with cross-functional teams and become a part of Ericsson’s long-term strategy to accelerate growth through strategic acquisitions and divestments.
